So this is how we found the place when we took possession in July 2011. Note the dead cows on the neighbours side to the right! Large areas of the property were showing damage from both cattle grazing and trail bike riding and there were obvious signs of soil degradation and erosion. In some areas there was nothing growing as the topsoil had blown away to reveal the clay layer underneath.
